About The Position

GO Physical Therapy is accepting applications from talented and engaged individuals for consideration for future opportunities. The Physical Therapy Tech provides patient-care support to patients and staff, assists with treatment under the direction of a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant, and helps maintain clean, prepared treatment areas and adequate supplies. The role also includes administrative tasks and adherence to company policies, safety processes, and regulatory standards. Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function.

Requirements

Ability to walk, stand, sit, and lift as part of the job.
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Provide patient-care support to patients and staff.
Greet patients and direct them to treatment booths.
Gather treatment equipment as indicated on patient treatment records.
Assist with or apply treatments under the direction of a Therapist or Therapist’s Assistant, including applying hot or cold packs, aligning electrical stimulation electrodes, and massage.
Listen to patient concerns, needs, and responses; document notes in treatment records and relay information to the Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant.
Remove used or soiled towels, padding, and pillows from treatment rooms, replace them with clean items, and prepare rooms for the next patient.
Maintain supplies, including pads, filled gel bottles, and heat packs; wash, fold, and stack laundry.
Clean equipment after patient use.
Perform administrative tasks and other assigned duties.
Follow company policies and procedures, including safety processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Demonstrate positive rapport with staff and sound judgment regarding questionable findings or concerns.
Take direction and initiate actions to support cross-functional duties and seamless patient care.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
