About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of clinic staff, ensuring proper staffing to cover patient census, updating performance reviews, approving time cards, and working with the Therapy Director and Office Manager to hire therapists and scheduling staff. The coordinator will also order supplies for the clinic and address employee or patient matters on site, collaborating with HR and the Director of Therapy when necessary. The position requires a degree from an accredited Physical or Occupational Therapy Program, a current Physical Therapy License in Alabama, CPR certification, and the ability to perform various physical tasks related to patient care and clinic operations.

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited Physical or Occupational Therapy Program
  • Current Physical Therapy License in the state of Alabama
  • CPR Certified
  • Able to use arms, hands and fingers skillfully
  • Frequent use of forceful exertion during treatment
  • Frequent moving, pushing, pulling of heavy patients and/or equipment
  • Constant standing and walking
  • Agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areas
  • Consistently work at a productive pace
  • Readily adapt to frequent treatment schedule changes
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Outstanding organizational, verbal and writing skills
  • Independent and highly motivated
  • Initiative and self-discipline

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily operations of clinic staff
  • Ensuring proper staffing to cover patient census
  • Updating performance reviews at scheduled intervals
  • Approving time cards and verifying hours worked/time off taken
  • Working with Therapy Director and Office Manager to hire therapists and scheduling staff, as well as aide positions
  • Regularly ordering supplies for the clinic or working with the supply department to ensure clinic is appropriately covered for wound care, cleaning, and general office supplies
  • Addressing any employee or patient matters on site as they arise
  • Working closely with HR and the Director of Therapy in cases where more action is required
  • Directing staff in a way to ensure an engaging environment for staff and patients that aligns with the goals and mission of TOC
