About The Position

The Physical Therapy Clinic Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of clinic staff, ensuring proper staffing to cover patient census, updating performance reviews, approving time cards, and working with the Therapy Director and Office Manager to hire therapists and schedule staff, as well as aide positions. This role also involves ordering supplies, addressing employee and patient matters, and collaborating with HR and the Director of Therapy when necessary. The position requires the ability to work under pressure, outstanding organizational, verbal, and writing skills, and a proven positive, teamwork attitude.

Requirements

  • Must have a degree from an accredited Physical or Occupational Therapy Program
  • Must have a current Physical Therapy License in the state of Alabama
  • Must be CPR Certified
  • Must be able to use arms, hands and fingers skillfully
  • Frequent use of forceful exertion during treatment
  • Frequent moving, pushing, pulling of heavy patients and/or equipment
  • Constant standing and walking
  • Must be agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areas
  • Consistently work at a productive pace
  • Must readily adapt to frequent treatment schedule changes
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Outstanding organizational, verbal and writing skills
  • Independent and highly motivated
  • Initiative and self-discipline
  • Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily operations of clinic staff
  • Ensuring proper staffing to cover patient census
  • Updating performance reviews at scheduled intervals
  • Approving time cards and verifying hours worked/time off taken
  • Working with Therapy Director and Office Manager to hire therapists and scheduling staff, as well as aide positions
  • Regularly ordering supplies for the clinic or working with the supply department
  • Addressing any employee or patient matters on site as they arise
  • Working closely with HR and the Director of Therapy in cases where more action is required
  • Directing staff to ensure an engaging environment for staff and patients that aligns with the goals and mission of TOC
