About The Position
Careage Home Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to provide personalized physical therapy services to patients in their residences in the Rural South area, including Kent, Auburn, Federal Way, Des Moines, and Covington. The role helps patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life in a familiar environment. The Licensed PTA administers physical therapy intermittently in patients’ places of residence, in accordance with physician orders and the plan of care, under the direction and supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist. The assistant implements treatment plans, assists patients with exercises, and supports their recovery. The posting lists a salary of $36.50–$47.75, depending on experience, a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 payable after one year of full-time employment, and mileage reimbursement. Requirements
- Currently licensed, registered, or certified in Washington State.
- Physical strength and stamina.
- Ability to lift patients and help them move.
- Ability to read and execute detailed instructions.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Compassion and empathy.
- Good attention to detail.
- Solid knowledge of anatomy.
- Knowledge of physical therapy stretches and exercises.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience preferred.
- Two years certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
