About The Position

Careage Home Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to provide personalized physical therapy services to patients in their residences. The assistant helps patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life by implementing treatment plans, assisting with exercises, and supporting recovery in a familiar environment. Services are provided intermittently in patients’ homes in accordance with physician orders and the plan of care, under the direction and supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist. The position covers the Rural South area, including Kent, Auburn, Federal Way, Des Moines, and Covington, Washington.

Requirements

Currently licensed, registered, or certified in Washington State.
Two years certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Physical strength and stamina.
Ability to lift patients and help them move.
Ability to read and execute detailed instructions.
Good interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Compassion and empathy.
Good attention to detail.
Solid knowledge of anatomy.
Knowledge of physical therapy stretches and exercises.

Nice To Haves

Two years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer physical therapy to patients intermittently in their residences, in accordance with physician orders and the plan of care.
