About The Position

Sprenger Therapy is hiring a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant for its in-house rehabilitation team at Heather Knoll in Tallmadge, Ohio. The Physical Therapy Assistant provides skilled therapy services under PT supervision, helping residents improve mobility, strength, function, and safety. New graduates are welcome, with mentorship provided from day one. Sprenger Therapy is the in-house rehabilitation team for Sprenger Health Care Systems, a third-generation family-owned senior living organization operating 12 skilled nursing facilities across Ohio and South Carolina.

Requirements

• Active PTA license in good standing.
• Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services under PT supervision.
• Assist with treatment planning, therapeutic exercise, and patient progression.
• Deliver patient-centered interventions focused on mobility, strength, function, and safety.
• Collaborate with occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, nursing, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes.
