About The Position
Sprenger Therapy is the in-house rehabilitation team for Sprenger Health Care Systems, a third-generation, family-owned senior living organization. This part-time role is based at Autumn Aegis in Lorain, Ohio. The Physical Therapy Assistant provides skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, focusing on meaningful, patient-centered care. The in-house, clinician-led model emphasizes residents’ needs, protected therapy time, respected clinical judgment, mentorship, and care decisions guided by outcomes rather than short-term volume. New graduates are welcome, with mentorship provided from day one.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in good standing.
- Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care.

Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy services under Physical Therapist supervision.
- Assist with treatment planning, therapeutic exercise, and patient progression.
- Deliver patient-centered interventions focused on mobility, strength, function, and safety.
- Collaborate with occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, nursing, and the full interdisciplinary care team.
- Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes.
