About The Position

Preferred Therapy Solutions is hiring a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for its sub-acute/skilled nursing rehabilitation department in Norwalk, Connecticut. The position is 24 hours per week, scheduled across 3–5 days. The PTA will provide comprehensive, compassionate therapy services and collaborate with rehabilitation therapists and nursing staff to support residents in reaching their highest level of independence. The company is therapist-owned and operated and emphasizes appropriate, ethical patient care, work-life balance, and continuing education. The hourly rate range is $29–$35.

Requirements

• Hold a current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or be eligible for licensure to practice in the state of employment.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and experience with electronic documentation.
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
• Work well with others in a team setting.
• Be flexible with hours.
