This is a float position supporting PACE sites in Portland, OR. Providence PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly that strives to keep older adults as healthy as possible living in the community through clinics, home visits and more. Requirements

• Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapist Association.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Within 30 days of hire)
• Oregon Physical Therapy Assistant License (Upon hire)

Nice To Haves

• 1 year Experience in the area of physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provides treatment of neurological, orthopedic, and muscular disorders in accordance with treatment plan established by Physical Therapist to provide efficient, effective physical therapy to referred geriatric participants.
• Utilizes a variety of skills and interventions such as prosthetic devices, therapeutic exercise techniques, emotional support and educational training to restore mobility and function to participants, reduce pain, and promote healing.
• Provides home care coordination.
