This is a float position supporting PACE sites in Portland, OR. Providence PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly that strives to keep older adults as healthy as possible living in the community through clinics, home visits and more. Join our team to help empower elders in your community to live active, independent lives.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapist Association.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Within 30 days of hire)
  • Oregon Physical Therapy Assistant License (Upon hire)

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year Experience in the area of physical therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Provides treatment of neurological, orthopedic, and muscular disorders in accordance with treatment plan established by Physical Therapist to provide efficient, effective physical therapy to referred geriatric participants.
  • Utilizes a variety of skills and interventions such as prosthetic devices, therapeutic exercise techniques, emotional support and educational training to restore mobility and function to participants, reduce pain, and promote healing.
  • Provides home care coordination.
