About The Position
MercyOne Clive Rehabilitation Hospital, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health and MercyOne, is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a PRN position in Inpatient Rehabilitation. The role is driven by a commitment to prioritize employee well-being to enable exceptional patient care. As a PTA, you will contribute to providing superior patient care that exceeds industry standards and patient expectations.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree from a PTA program.
- Current PTA license in state of practice.
- CPR certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administers physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
- Assists in patient mobility and exercise routines.
- Monitors patient responses and reports progress to PT.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation.
- Ensures a safe and clean environment for treatment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
