About The Position

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Acute Rehabilitation position at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital ARU is a Per Diem role focused on assisting licensed Physical Therapists in restoring patient function and improving mobility. Requirements

• Associate’s degree from a PTA program.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.

• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
