About The Position
Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their team at Kindred Hospital - Fort Lauderdale. This full-time position involves administering physical therapy interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist (PT), assisting with patient mobility and exercise, monitoring patient progress, maintaining documentation, and ensuring a safe treatment environment. Requirements
- Associate’s degree from a PTA program.
- Current PTA license in state of FL.
- CPR certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
- Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
- Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
