Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA, Rehab) -
About The Position
Join our experienced Rehab team to provide customized rehabilitation programs to meet the individual needs of a diverse population who no longer require hospitalization, however are in need of short-term rehabilitation in a multi-disciplinary therapeutic environment. Southington Care Center's rehabilitation programs and services include: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Outpatient Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy, Lymphedema Management, Good Life Fitness & Wellness Program. Requirements
- Must possess an Associate Degree from an accredited program conferring the title of Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Must possess a Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of CT.
- Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative therapy practices.
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 year(s) of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Physical Therapist in planning, directing, and administering the Physical Therapy Services in the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
