About The Position
Aegis Therapies, a leading provider of rehabilitation and wellness services, is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join their supportive team. This full-time position offers a flexible schedule of up to 40 hours per week and is based in a nursing home, rehabilitation center, or skilled nursing facility setting in Portsmouth, VA. The role focuses on making a meaningful difference in patients' lives within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Requirements
- Current license as a Physical Therapy Assistant or ability to obtain in the state of practice.
- Enjoy working in geriatrics.
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant license.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance to patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
- Support patients in rehabilitation and wellness services.
