A full-time Physical Therapy Assistant position is available in the sub-acute/skilled nursing rehabilitation department at Huntington Hills Center for Health & Rehab, a five-star skilled nursing facility in Melville, New York. The facility provides short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, serving a blend of patient populations. The role is part of a clinically strong rehabilitation team and involves working with the interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes and independence. The rehabilitation department has a spacious gym. Preferred Therapy Solutions is owned and operated by therapists and emphasizes appropriate, ethical patient care. The good-faith rate range is $29.00–$35.00.
Requirements
- Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be eligible for licensure to practice in the state of employment.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Have experience with electronic documentation.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
- Work well with others in a team setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
- Work collaboratively with other rehabilitation therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team environment.
- Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
