About The Position
The Physical Therapy Assistant holds a safety sensitive position and serves to assist in administration of physical therapy services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and guidelines. The Physical Therapy Assistant adheres to the professional standards of practice guidelines and code of ethics set forth by the State Board of Physical Therapy and ensures the highest level of quality care is rendered at all times. This position does provide direct patient care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Oklahoma
- Current BLS Certification
- Previous experience in the field of Physical Therapy in a hospital setting
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office products
- Medical terminology
Responsibilities
- Assist in administration of physical therapy services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and guidelines.
- Adhere to the professional standards of practice guidelines and code of ethics set forth by the State Board of Physical Therapy.
- Ensure the highest level of quality care is rendered at all times.
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
