About The Position

Under the supervision of the physical therapist, provides for patient needs, modalities, therapeutic exercises, rehabilitative therapy, and the use of orthopedic/adaptive equipment. Assist physical therapists in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures. Assists with carrying out treatment plans and routine functions, modifies treatment plans and documents the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy assistant program
• Current physical therapy assistant licensed in the state of Virginia
