About The Position
At Varco Home Health, the Physical Therapy Assistant provides one-on-one therapy support in patients’ homes to help them improve mobility, regain independence, and enhance their quality of life. This is a PRN position with a flexible schedule. The assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist, supports patients in achieving their functional goals, and helps them maintain independence in their homes.
Requirements
- Active Texas PTA license.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently in a home setting.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

- Home health experience.
- Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
- Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support patient goals and functional independence.
