About The Position
The Lutheran Care Center at Poughkeepsie is seeking per diem Physical Therapy Assistants. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the position provides direct physical therapy care to adult short- and long-term patients to help them regain strength and mobility. The facility is a nonprofit nursing and rehabilitation facility with 160 beds, located in the Hudson Valley.
Requirements
- Associate degree.
- Valid New York State license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, MMR, and PPD.
Nice To Haves
- Previous post-acute experience is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy care to short- and long-term adult patients.
- Assist patients in regaining strength and mobility under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
Benefits
- Pay rate of $40.00 per hour.
