Physical Therapist PT Part Time
About The Position
The Physical Therapist (PT) provides skilled physical therapy services to patients in their homes to promote mobility, restore function, improve strength and balance, and enhance safety and independence. The PT collaborates with patients, caregivers, and an interdisciplinary care team to support recovery, prevent hospitalizations, and improve quality of life in the home setting. The role includes providing interventions, conducting reexaminations at least every 30 days, modifying interventions as needed, and performing discharge planning. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
- Hold a current physical therapy license specific to the state assigned for work.
- Have a driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Hold current CPR certification.
- Have at least one year of related physical therapy experience when entering home health care; applicants with less than one year require approval from regional clinical leaders and appropriate mentoring and/or participation in a residency program.
- Pass a drug test before beginning employment.
Responsibilities

- Provide physical therapy interventions, conduct reexaminations at least every 30 days, modify interventions as necessary, and perform discharge planning.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
