About The Position
AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital - Covington is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to evaluate patients’ rehabilitation potential, establish realistic goals, and plan and administer individualized treatment programs based on each patient’s functional capacity and tolerance. Treatments and modalities must follow established policies and procedures while maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care. The hospital uses a multidisciplinary approach that includes clinical and therapeutic interventions and family involvement, with a high staff-to-patient ratio intended to support individualized attention.
Requirements
- Maintain a current Louisiana Physical Therapy License.
- Hold current BLS certification.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer knowledge.
Responsibilities

- Plan and administer treatment programs suited to each patient’s individual functional capacity and tolerance.
- Provide physical therapy treatments and modalities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
