In our school-based roles, you’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact by supporting children within local Volusia County schools—bringing care and therapy services right into the environments where they learn and grow every day. Our Dunn Avenue location serves as a vibrant hub for early development and family-centered care. This dynamic setting supports children and families from the very beginning, offering a collaborative space where providers work together to make meaningful progress. It is also home to our expanding pediatric therapy program, where Physical Therapists play a critical role in helping children build strength, improve mobility, and increase independence. Through evidence-based, compassionate care, you’ll partner with families to support each child’s unique developmental journey. As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will be an essential part of this mission, helping children gain the skills they need to thrive at home, in school, and in their community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred)
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Florida
  • Medicaid and National Provider Number (preferred)
  • Previous pediatric experience (preferred- but passion for working with children is key!)
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and EMR systems
  • Flexibility and commitment to self-development
  • Integrity, tact, and sound judgment
  • Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required to drive for program related business

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for pediatric clients
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Track progress through timely documentation using EMR systems
  • Set and achieve meaningful goals outlined in each Plan of Care
  • Manage your caseload effectively while mentoring and supervising PTA(s)
  • Collaborate with families, schools, early intervention programs, and care teams
  • Empower families through education and support
