Our Dunn Avenue location serves as a vibrant hub for early development and family-centered care. This dynamic setting supports children and families from the very beginning, offering a collaborative space where providers work together to make meaningful progress. It is also home to our expanding pediatric therapy program, where Physical Therapists play a critical role in helping children build strength, improve mobility, and increase independence. Through evidence-based, compassionate care, you’ll partner with families to support each child’s unique developmental journey. As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will be an essential part of this mission, helping children gain the skills they need to thrive at home, in school, and in their community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred)
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Florida
- Medicaid and National Provider Number (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and EMR systems
- Flexibility and commitment to self-development
- Integrity, tact, and sound judgment
- Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required to drive for program related business
Nice To Haves
- Previous pediatric experience (preferred- but passion for working with children is key!)
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for pediatric clients
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Track progress through timely documentation using EMR systems
- Set and achieve meaningful goals outlined in each Plan of Care
- Manage your caseload effectively while mentoring and supervising PTA(s)
- Collaborate with families, schools, early intervention programs, and care teams
- Empower families through education and support
