Physical Therapist-ARMC(Weekend Casual)
About The Position
Adena Rehabilitation Services is seeking a casual Physical Therapist to support patient care at Adena Regional Medical Center. The primary setting is acute care, with consistent weekend coverage needs and possible secondary coverage opportunities in outpatient therapy. The position is primarily focused on full-day Saturday coverage, with Sunday coverage depending on patient volume and department needs. Optional weekday coverage may also be available in acute care or outpatient therapy. The role offers flexible hours in a collaborative hospital environment. Outpatient adult and/or pediatric therapy experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy evaluations and treatment in the acute care hospital setting.
- Support weekend therapy coverage, primarily Saturdays and Sundays as patient volume requires.
- Assist with discharge recommendations and communicate with the care team.
- Promote safe mobility, functional progression, and patient-centered rehabilitation.
- Document care according to department, regulatory, and billing standards.
- Provide weekday support in acute care or outpatient therapy as needed and appropriate.
- Potentially cover outpatient adult and/or pediatric therapy needs based on demonstrated competence.
- Provide assistant supervision.
