About The Position

The Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates and treats patients across the lifespan, developing and implementing individualized care plans to improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life. This role includes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation support staff. Requirements

Current North Carolina license as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility)
Current CPR certification
Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Dedication to continuous professional growth
Compliance with all hospital policies, including vaccination requirements (approved exemptions considered)
Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening (post-offer)

Nice To Haves

Pediatric and/or neurological rehabilitation experience preferred

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan, including pediatric through geriatric populations
Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize outcomes
Supervise and mentor PTAs and rehabilitation support staff
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery strategies
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
