Physical Therapist Rehab Therapy FT

LCMC HealthMetairie, LA

About The Position

Your job is more than a job. As a physical therapist, no two days and no two patients are alike. You champion multiple patients as they begin their physical rehabilitation journey. Whether it’s a neurological issue or a physical trauma, you encourage, comfort, and ready your patients for therapy, interacting with physicians, case managers, nurses, and families as part of a team care approach. You celebrate the ordinary, because in the world of rehabilitation, just the act of taking a few steps may be an extraordinary milestone for your patient. And while you focus on your patient’s “extraordinary”, we focus on giving you the tangible and intangible resources that foster the “little something extras” you need to amplify your impact and grow your expertise. Your experiences, knowledge, skills, empathy, compassion, and personality, all of it adds up to you. And we’re excited to get to know you and find out what you will bring to this critical rehabilitation role. LCMC Health is a community. Our people make health happen. While our NOLA roots run deep, our branches are the vessels that carry our mission of bringing the best possible care to every person and parish in Louisiana and beyond and put a little more heart and soul into healthcare along the way. Celebrating authenticity, originality, equity, inclusion and a little “come on in” attitude is the foundation of LCMC Health’s culture of everyday extraordinary. East Jefferson General Hospital, a landmark of LCMC Health’s incredible community of care, has been the go-to hospital for health, wellness, and one-of-a-kind care in East Jefferson Parish for over 50 years. And we’re only beginning to realize our greatest potential. Learn more about East Jefferson General Hospital and our legacy, our future, and our national recognition as a Nurse Magnet Hospital. One-of-a-kind care comes from one-of-a-kind people. At LCMC Health, our people are the magic ingredient that makes our care so extra-extraordinary. We are compassionate, driven, and dedicated to bringing a little something extra to healthcare and to the people of New Orleans and beyond. If you’re the kind of person who believes that our community deserves the best and that healthcare needs a little more heart, we want you to be a part of our family. From medical roles to administrative positions, every person on our team plays a part in our mission: to provide health, care, and education beyond extraordinary. Let’s make every day extraordinary, together.
