About The Position

NovaCare Rehabilitation is hiring a Physical Therapist at its Leonardtown, Maryland outpatient clinic. The clinic provides orthopedic, sports, aquatic, neurologic, vestibular, and oncology rehabilitation services to patients from teens through geriatrics. New graduates are welcome and receive a structured, on-site mentorship and orientation program, with caseloads gradually increased. Clinicians typically see 10–12 patients per day depending on patient needs; evaluations are one hour and treatments are 45 minutes. The schedule is full-time, 32–40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Compensation is $80,000–$100,000, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and an indefinite student debt benefit program. Requirements

Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
Current physical therapist license in the state of practice, or eligibility for licensure in that state.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Complete and maintain required corporate and clinical services training, and maintain compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.
Evaluate and treat patients, direct their treatment, and document care.
Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors.
Attend and participate in center meetings as directed by the center manager.
