About The Position

NovaCare Rehabilitation is hiring a Physical Therapist for outpatient orthopedic, sports, and aquatics care at its Leonardtown, Maryland location. The clinic treats a diverse caseload ranging from teens through geriatrics, with services including general orthopedics, neurology, vestibular rehabilitation, sports medicine, aquatics, and oncology rehabilitation. New graduates are welcome. The clinic gradually increases caseloads through an on-site, structured mentorship program. Most clinicians see 10–12 patients per day, depending on patient needs, with one-hour evaluations conducted one-to-one and 45-minute treatment times. The role offers full-time hours of 32–40 per week, Monday through Friday, and compensation of $80,000–$100,000, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus and an indefinite student debt benefit. The company describes mentorship and orientation, paid national certifications through its CEU program, and an outpatient clinical advancement program with bonus incentives.

Requirements

Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
Current state physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Complete and maintain required corporate and clinical services training and comply with state, local, and federal regulations.
Evaluate, treat, direct, and document treatment for patients.
Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors.
Attend and participate in center meetings as directed by the center manager.
