Requirements

  • Graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
  • 0 to 6 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Licensed by the state of Arkansas Physical Therapy Board.
  • Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program.
  • Intermediate proficiency in word processing/typing and other relevant software.

Nice To Haves

  • Orthopedic Certified Specialist.
  • Certified Sports Specialist.
  • Manual Therapy Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized care plans with daily treatment sessions to address areas identified in the initial evaluation.
  • Utilize various modality interventions to manage and alleviate patient symptoms.
  • Complete initial evaluations, including visual assessments, measurements, and hands-on interpretations, to establish effective care plans.
  • Complete and maintain accurate patient documentation using the Athena EHR system, adhering to state and federal guidelines.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, including OSHA standards and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Organize and maintain therapy clinic equipment and supplies, ensuring a safe and obstacle-free working environment.
  • Use chemical cleaners to sanitize treatment tables, workspaces, and equipment.
  • Interact with patients closely and sensitively, providing hands-on movement and support.
  • Develop and foster positive rapport with patients, their families, administrative and medical staff, and fellow employees.
  • Supervise and provide education and training to Physical Therapy Assistants and therapy techs as needed.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned to support the therapy clinic’s operations and patient care.
