About The Position

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is currently seeking experienced Physical Therapists (PTs) for per diem hospital opportunities in Halifax VA. Whether you're looking to supplement your current income or enjoy the flexibility of choosing your own schedule, we have shifts available to fit your lifestyle. Available Shifts: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Weekend Shifts: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Per diem scheduling allows you to work as little as one shift per month or as many as you'd like.

Requirements

Current Virginia Physical Therapist License
Current BLS Certification
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Nice To Haves

Minimum one year of recent hospital or acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
Restore mobility, improve function, and reduce pain
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques and home exercise programs
Maintain compliance with facility policies and professional standards
