About The Position

A Per Diem (primarily weekday coverage) Physical Therapist, (PT/RPT), position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Glens Falls, NY. Once hired as part of the PTS team, you may join as many of our other local PRN rosters as you wish. The Pines at Glens Falls is a 5-star Nursing Facility and Rehabilitation center located in Glens Falls, New York. This is a 120-bed facility with a 40 bed "Passport to Home Unit". The therapy department consists of a caring team of strong clinicians who work well together to achieve positive outcomes for the patients. The therapists focus on returning people to the community as well as keeping our long-term Residents functioning at their maximum functional potential. Preferred Therapy Solutions is owned and operated by therapists, focuses on appropriate and ethical patient care, and understands what therapists need to be successful. Requirements

Must have SNF experience
Possess a current Physical Therapist, (PT / RPT), license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
Work well with others in a team setting
Be flexible with hours

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
Focus on returning people to the community as well as keeping long-term Residents functioning at their maximum functional potential
