Physical Therapist | Inpatient Acute Care
About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking a full-time inpatient Physical Therapist at its Newark campus, the largest campus in its network. The campus supports specialty programs including a Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Treatment Center, and regional centers of excellence in heart and vascular care and cancer care. Physical Therapists provide patient care in settings including ICUs, the Emergency Department, therapy gyms, and at the patient bedside. ChristianaCare offers career advancement through a formal Rehabilitation Career Ladder Program and affiliations with colleges and universities that provide clinical instruction and lecturing opportunities. Variable shifts and hours may be available. Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate graduate of an A.P.T.A.-approved school of Physical Therapy.
- CPR certification required.
- Current Delaware license or eligibility for a Delaware license.
Responsibilities
- Deliver inpatient physical therapy care in settings such as ICUs, the Emergency Department, therapy gyms, and at the patient bedside.
