About The Position

Discovery at Home is hiring a Physical Therapist to serve the Discovery Commons South Biscayne and Aston Gardens Pelican Point campuses in Sarasota County, Florida. Full-time is preferred, and part-time and PRN candidates will also be considered. Candidates requiring sponsorship to work in the United States are welcome to apply. New graduate PTs will receive dedicated support and mentorship. You will primarily work within assisted and independent living communities, with some home visits possible within the community. The patient population is primarily geriatric, with most cases covered under Medicare Part A Home Health along with some Part B. Clinicians have significant autonomy in determining their own caseload and daily schedule. Please note that employment in Florida is contingent upon completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida AHCA requirements, including fingerprinting through the AHCA Clearinghouse. Requirements

Graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (or equivalent standing).
State license as a Physical Therapist.
Eligible for Florida state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Current CPR certification.
Completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida AHCA requirements, including fingerprinting through the AHCA Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

Prior home health experience is preferred but not required.
Full-time is preferred, and part-time and PRN candidates will also be considered.

Responsibilities
