About The Position

Discovery at Home is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to serve the Discovery Village Naples and Aston Gardens Pelican Marsh campuses in Naples, Florida. Full-time is preferred, and candidates requiring sponsorship to work in the United States are welcome to apply. New graduate PTAs will receive dedicated support and mentorship. You will primarily work within assisted and independent living communities, with some home visits possible within the community. The patient population is primarily geriatric, with most cases covered under Medicare Part A Home Health along with some Part B. Clinicians have significant autonomy in determining their own caseload and daily schedule. Employment in Florida is contingent upon completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida AHCA requirements, including fingerprinting through the AHCA Clearinghouse.

Requirements

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs).
Graduated from an accredited PTA program.
Eligible for Florida state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Current CPR certification.
Must be eligible for Florida state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Nice To Haves

Prior home health experience is preferred.
Full-time availability of 40 hours per week is preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve the Discovery Village Naples and Aston Gardens Pelican Marsh campuses.
Work primarily within assisted and independent living communities.
Conduct some home visits within the community.
Manage a caseload primarily consisting of geriatric patients, with cases covered under Medicare Part A Home Health and some Part B.
Determine own caseload and daily schedule.
