About The Position

FOX Rehabilitation is seeking licensed Physical Therapists to provide one-on-one care to older adults in Newport Beach, California, and surrounding communities. Clinicians deliver care in private residences and senior living settings, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care, using FOX’s Geriatric House Calls™ model. The role focuses on improving patients’ mobility, independence, wellness, longevity, and quality of life through evaluations, individualized plans of care, and evidence-based treatment. Physical Therapists can create and manage their own treatment schedules and build lasting relationships with patients. Clinicians may also use telehealth and other virtual care when appropriate. The position involves documenting in FOX’s EMR system, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and educating patients, caregivers, and senior living staff. FOX describes its practice as clinician-operated and grounded in meaningful relationships, evidence-based care, and a mission to abolish ageism. FOX offers full-time, part-time, and PRN/FOX Flex employment pathways. The stated standard base pay range for a full-time role in this California region is $80,000–$112,000 annually, with an opportunity to earn more; part-time and FOX Flex compensation is prorated. Requirements

Valid Physical Therapy license in the state or states of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including lifting, performing CPR, assisting with patient transfers and bed mobility, repositioning patients, standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities.
Ability to wear PPE when required.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one physical therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living communities, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
Deliver therapy that supports patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
Document care in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and Fitness Specialists.
Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
Provide telehealth or virtual care when appropriate.
Drive to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model.
Potentially supervise PTAs or OTAs, mentor emerging professionals, teach as a Clinical Instructor, or contribute written or social media content for additional compensation.
