About The Position
Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking motivated, compassionate, and forward-thinking New Graduate Physical Therapists to join their growing Home Care team for their Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan regions. As a new graduate at Metro, you will receive individualized mentorship, hands-on learning opportunities, and the resources needed to confidently transition from student to practicing clinician. You will work in a supportive environment alongside skilled therapists, with a collaborative team that truly values your growth.
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York or eligible.
Nice To Haves
- No prior homecare experience required.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates a patient's need for physical therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
- Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
- Instructs family members, PTA's, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.
