About The Position
Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking motivated, compassionate, and forward-thinking New Graduate Occupational Therapists to join their growing Home Care team. This role offers individualized mentorship, hands-on learning opportunities, and the resources needed to confidently transition from student to practicing clinician. The therapist will work in a supportive environment alongside skilled therapists, with a collaborative team that values growth. The position is available for their Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan regions.
Requirements
- Occupational Therapist Program Graduate
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of New York or eligible
- Ability to travel to patients’ homes within the assigned geographic territory
- Strong communication skills between patients, support staff, and management
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy in patients' homes within an assigned geographic territory.
- Deliver personalized therapy with time to connect with each patient.
- Manage own schedule with no nights or weekends.
- Focus on patient care with streamlined documentation.
- Collaborate with patients, support staff, and management.
- Respond in a timely manner via text, email, phone, etc.
