About The Position

Adoration Home Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide patient-centered care in patients’ homes. The position is based in Batesville, Arkansas, with coverage of Ash Flat, Melbourne, and Cherokee Village in the NW Territory. New graduates are welcome to apply. The schedule is full time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients based on physician orders, develops treatment plans to support patients’ independence and function, coordinates with the treatment team and patients’ families, documents services, and supervises Physical Therapist Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides. The role offers independent work alongside team support and flexible scheduling options. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available to external candidates only.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Physical Therapist education program approved by CAPTE.
• Current Physical Therapist licensure in the state of practice.
• American Heart Association CPR certification; CPR certification may be offered and completed upon hire.
• Two years of experience in adult physical therapy.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and basic math skills.
• Physical therapy skills as specified by the competency checklist.

Nice To Haves

• Home health experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and provide treatment based on physician orders, including recommending and procuring adaptive equipment.
• Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to help patients reach their maximum level of independence and/or function.
• Maintain communication among the treatment team, physician, patient, and family members as applicable.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services provided to support proper billing.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with the state practice act.
