About The Position

Adoration Home Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide patient-centered home health care in the Greenville, Alabama coverage area. The role involves evaluating and treating patients according to physician orders, developing treatment plans that support independence and function, coordinating with the care team and families, documenting services, and supervising Physical Therapist Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides. Requirements

• Graduate of a Physical Therapist Education program approved by CAPTE.
• Current Physical Therapist licensure in the state.
• American Heart Association CPR certification; certification may be offered and completed upon hire.
• Two years of experience in adult physical therapy.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and basic math skills.
• Physical therapy skills as described in the competency checklist.

Nice To Haves

• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments based on physician orders, including recommending and procuring adaptive equipment.
• Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to help patients reach their maximum level of independence and/or function.
• Maintain communication among the treatment team, physician, patient, and applicable family members.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services provided to ensure proper billing.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with the state practice act.
