About The Position

St. Louis Children’s Hospital Specialty Care Center in Town & Country is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist to provide care in the Young Athlete Center for sports and orthopedic patients, including patients with chronic pain. The role provides skilled physical therapy services, including evaluation, treatment, assessment, reassessment, and consultation. The schedule is Monday through Friday, four 10-hour days per week, with some Saturday hours and no holidays.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
Physical Therapist license.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

Establish treatment plans and provide treatment, considering discharge needs, expected discharge functional status, and appropriate equipment and supplies.
Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and other health care providers, and make recommendations for specialist referrals as needed.
Delegate to assistants, technicians, and students through written and verbal communication, determining the skill or competency needed to provide appropriate interventions.
Complete documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
Provide assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Physical Therapy Services.
