About The Position

Aegis Therapies, a leading provider of rehabilitation and wellness services, is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join their Skilled Nursing (SNF) rehab team at John Knox Village in Pompano Beach, Florida. This role is situated within a luxury Life Plan Community (CCRC) and focuses on delivering high-quality, outcomes-driven rehabilitation to motivated residents. The position is ideal for therapists who enjoy working with medically complex patients, short-term rehab, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration in a well-resourced SNF environment that emphasizes relationships, continuity of care, and clinical excellence, rather than a high-turnover setting.

Requirements

• Current Florida Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Interest or experience in Skilled Nursing / post-acute rehab.
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork mindset.
• Passion for helping older adults recover and regain independence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, outcomes-driven rehabilitation.
• Help residents regain strength, independence, and confidence.
• Work with medically complex patients.
• Engage in short-term rehab and discharge planning.

• Practice at the top of their license.
• Help patients transition safely from SNF to home or lower levels of care.
• Build strong partnerships with nursing, physicians, and care managers.
