Physical Therapist Outpatient Ortho PRN
About The Position
The Physical Therapist I provides patient evaluation and treatment within legal and professional guidelines and hospital and departmental policies. The role evaluates patients and implements plans of care to improve, restore, and enhance physical functional performance and promote injury prevention. The Physical Therapist completes documentation and quality-improvement activities in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, and instructs and directs Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians as assigned. This PRN opportunity is based at Southport Family and Sports Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana, with the opportunity to work at various Franciscan Health therapy locations. New graduates are welcome; mentorship and 1:1 therapist/patient-focused care are offered.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited program.
- Valid license or temporary permit for the applicable state.
- Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability and willingness to work in a team environment.
- Experienced and new graduate Physical Therapists are eligible.
