Physical Therapist Outpatient Ortho PRN
About The Position
The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients within legal and professional guidelines and hospital and departmental policies. The role evaluates and implements plans of care to improve, restore, and enhance physical functional performance and promote injury prevention. The Physical Therapist also instructs and directs Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians as assigned, and completes documentation and quality-improvement activities in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. This PRN outpatient orthopedic position is based at Southport Family and Sports Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. It offers days, mentorship, 1:1 therapist/patient-focused care, and the opportunity to work at various Franciscan Health therapy locations. New graduates are welcome. Weekend registry rates and shift differentials are available.
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program.
- A valid license or temporary permit for the applicable state.
- Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability and willingness to work in a team environment.

- Experienced and new graduate Physical Therapists are eligible; new graduates are welcome.
- Mentorship is available.
