About The Position
Join our growing rehabilitation team as we launch a new Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based treatment services that support patients in achieving their highest level of independence and function. The successful candidate will bring rehabilitation experience, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to care. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a new program while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduates of an accredited physical therapy program.
- Current state license, certification or registration with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.
- Valid BLS certificate.
- Comprehensive understanding of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong proficiency in the principles, methods, materials and equipment utilized in physical therapy.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based treatment services that support patients in achieving their highest level of independence and function.
- Comprehend and adhere to the instructions of the department manager, as well as established policies and procedures.
