About The Position

The Physical Therapist I provides patient evaluation and treatment within legal and professional guidelines and hospital and departmental policies and procedures. The role evaluates patients and implements plans of care to improve, restore, and enhance physical functional performance and promote injury prevention. The Physical Therapist completes documentation and quality improvement activities as outlined in departmental policies and procedures, and instructs and directs Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians as assigned. The position is based at Franciscan Health Indianapolis Orthopedic Hospital in Carmel, serving the greater Indianapolis area. It is listed as PRN/days, with opportunities to work at various Franciscan Health therapy locations. New graduates are welcome, and mentorship and 1:1 therapist/patient-focused care are available. Weekend registry rates and shift differentials are available.

Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program.
Valid license or temporary permit for the applicable state.
Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities.
Ability and willingness to work in a team environment.
Experienced and new graduate Physical Therapists are eligible.

Responsibilities
