We are hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist for our Acute Care Rehab Department at Baptist Medical Center in downtown Jacksonville. This position requires at least 1 year of recent experience in an acute care setting, with experience in ortho and neuro care.
Requirements
- 1 or more year(s) Experience working in an Acute Care setting strongly preferred
- Orthopedics and Neuro Experience
- Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy Required
- Licensed Physical Therapist from FL Department of Health Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Required

- Master's Degree Preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluates, plans, directs and administers physical therapy treatment to patients.
- Provides patient care to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
- Oversees support staff.
- Participates in departmental operations and in performance improvement activities.
- Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines.
- Participates in mandatory education and licensure requirements.
