We are hiring a Physical Therapist for our Acute Care Rehab Department at Baptist Medical Center in downtown Jacksonville. This is a Part-Time, Days position. We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our Rehab Team. This position requires a candidate with at least 1 year of recent experience working in an acute care setting, and experience in ortho and neuro care. Requirements

  • 1 or more year(s) Experience working in an Acute Care setting strongly preferred
  • Orthopedics and Neuro Experience
  • Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy Required
  • Licensed Physical Therapist from FL Department of Health Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Required

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates, plans, directs and administers physical therapy treatment to patients.
  • Provides patient care to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
  • Oversees support staff.
  • Participates in departmental operations and in performance improvement activities.
  • Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines.
  • Participates in mandatory education and licensure requirements.
