About The Position

St. Anne Home is seeking a per-diem Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services to residents. The role involves evaluating residents, designing treatment plans, and administering physician-prescribed physical therapy. The Physical Therapist also supervises physical therapy staff, coordinates care with other services, maintains resident medical-record documentation, and schedules daily treatments. The listed compensation is $55 per hour.

Requirements

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
Licensed and in good standing in the State of Pennsylvania, with current registration.
Should be a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

One year of experience in long-term care is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform evaluations, design treatment plans, and administer physical therapy as prescribed by a physician.
Supervise professional and non-professional physical therapy staff in delivering physical therapy services.
Assign caseloads and related tasks to physical therapy staff consistent with their education and experience.
Coordinate physical therapy with other appropriate services for assigned residents.
Complete required documentation for residents’ medical records.
Schedule daily treatments.
