Physical Therapist - PRN
About The Position
Theracare is an employee-owned Indiana provider of Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy services. The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients according to physician orders, using therapeutic procedures to restore muscle strength, coordination, and body alignment, relieve pain, and improve movement and function. The therapist works as part of a team, providing support and information within the Physical Therapy area. Services may be provided in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, or Home Health Care settings. The role is PRN, with a variety of hours available and flexible scheduling. The position is associated with a Skilled Nursing Facility and offers access to regional management support and the opportunity to work with a dedicated therapy team.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current state license or certification.
- Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board.
- Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to provide therapy services in settings including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, or Home Health Care.
- Competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in the Physical Therapy discipline.
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

- Minimum of one year of experience in rehabilitation preferred.
