About The Position

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, helping them reach the highest level of physical independence. Conducts evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Is responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants and may orient and provide ongoing guidance to assigned staff. The position is based at Piedmont Macon Medical.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT.
Maintain current continuing education units as required by the State.
Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia.
Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification through the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

Two years of experience preferred.
